See, Test and Treat – A Worthwhile Cause!

SeeTestTreatAs 2012 draws to a close, I am proud to support the CAP Foundation and its signature program, See, Test & Treat, an initiative launched by Gene Herbek, a man I greatly admire. This program has provided  to underserved women access to preventive care and patient education. Our colleagues are volunteering their time and talent to help identify patient communities in need, coordinate interdisciplinary clinical teams, and lead the delivery of free, same-day cervical and breast cancer testing, diagnoses, and follow-up care. Your donation can help forward this cause, while helping increase the visibility of pathologists in the health care arena.

I would ask you to consider this opportunity if you are planning on any year-end donations in your tax-planning strategies.  Visit foundation.cap.org to donate or you can contact Marikay Martin at 847-832-7466.

Thank you all for all of the support that you have provided toward the initiatives that I have asked you to support over the past two years as your president.  I hope you would agree that those contributions, as this one will, make a difference for our patients, as well as our own interests.

Best Wishes during this Holiday Season.
